Lift Truck Safety Awareness Course for Managers and Supervisors Course Membership Management and supervisory staff who have lift truck operators working within their scope of responsibility and lift trucks within their operational resources; health and safety officers/managers working in companies that operate lift trucks. Course Aim To give managers and supervisors with responsibility for lift truck operations and lift truck operators an understanding of their statutory responsibilities with regard to lift truck operations and lift trucks within their working environment. Course Objective Upon completion course members will be aware of their management and supervisory responsibilities towards the lift truck operating employees for whom they are responsible under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment regulations, Regulation 9 (b), and associated legislation and regulation.
